I am using an application to practice french. One of the sentences has caught my attention because when I listen to the pronunciation it makes both a and à sound... In real life would there be a double pronunciation of the a? Or is it more implied? Is this common? I feel like it does not flow easily. Here is the sentence.
"La fille a à peu près vingt robes." It asks me to translate to english I would say - the girl has more or less twenty dresses or the girl has about twenty dresses. ... I do not remeber if I got it correct. Thanks again.
